 DLP™ technology is a revolutionary and reliable display solution, it is an all digital display chip that delivers the best picture to large screen digital TVs. At the heart of DLP™ projection system is an optical semiconductor known as the Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) which contains a rectangular array of up to 2 million hinge-mounted microscopic mirrors that enable them to tilt either toward the light source in a DLP™ projection system (ON) or away from it (OFF) creating a light of dark pixel on the projection surface. Switching these mirrors electronically takes a rapid 10 microseconds that can controls the direction of light reflection on a dark or light gray pixel. In this way, the video or graphic signal can convert into a highly detailed grayscale image.
 The white light generated by the lamp in a DLP™ projection system passes through a color wheel filter, causing red, green and blue light to be shone in sequence on the surface of the DLP™ chip. The switching of mirrors, and the proportion of time they are 'on' or 'off' is coordinated according to the color shining on them. The human visual system integrates the sequential color and sees a full-color image.

Lumens light engine equipped with very high precision lens, that is dedicate designed for Display Wall set. By 0.4% super low optical geometric distortion rate, the line matching in junction of the cubes will be no longer a headache for an installer. |

3-D Comb Filter
The Lumens DP series features and internal 3D Comb Filter, which removes the jagged edges from moving video images making these images clearer, and the edges smoother. |

Speed Exchange Lamp Swap
Speed Lamp Swap minimizes the lamp down time. If the operating lamp stops lighting, the spare lamp quickly starts lighting, and moves to the operation spot. The customer can start seeing the images from the new operating lamp in the less time. |

Digital Input and Daisy Chain Functions
Lumens DP Series allow full digital connection and transmission with the DVI connector. With this connector, we can also daisy chain up to 256 display wall cubes without troublesome cable connections. |

No Frame Delay
No frame delay with Lumens series, the frame can be displayed in smoothness and synchronization even video broadcast. |

FMS Grouping for Perfect Color Matching
Lumens apply a Flexible Manufacturing System to help customers to get the most perfect color uniformity performance of your video wall without paying too much adjusting efforts. This can be achieved by dividing the lamp and color wheel into several groups. The most identical lamps or color wheels can be grouped together. And we are able to select and provide the same group components to have perfect color matching. |

High Contrast
The optical engines of the DP series are produced with TI's 12' DDR DMD chips, boosting the images' contrast to be greater than 1000:1. With this high contrast, Lumens video wall cube can be achieve clear sharp image with rich colors. |

Built-in Brightness Sensor (Not Available Now)
DP5xx/7xx/8xx is equipped with light sensor and brightness tuning software, that matching the brightness automatically. This function maintaines the Display Wall set always at high uniform brightness even the lamp brightness have different decay by time. |
